Tommy, from Adelaide, South Australia is the Founder and Director of RadioKSA and the host of Six O’Clock Rock. He was a fan of radio and fell in love with music in the 60’s when the Beatles came to town in 1964.
He spent his working life as an electronics engineer, but now as an accomplished and experienced announcer, MC and actor, who prefers to spend his time with his wife (an established artist), along with his thousands of CD’s, LP’s and countless 45’s!
Six O’Clock Rock, a successful radio program in Adelaide, South Australia for almost 15 years, also became a popular dance attraction at many local venues.
Tommy became the Patron of the Down Syndrome Society as a result of his support for many groups catering to the disabled.

Steve hails from Broken Hill, New South Wales and now lives in Adelaide, South Australia.
Steve’s always had a love of music and radio, in fact from his earliest memories he had a crystal set radio which he listened to at night.
Today Steve works in Community radio, and has done so for the past 10 years.Steve’s musical interests are very broad, and include everything from country to heavy rock.
Steve will help you wakeup weekdays from 7-10am and Rocks the Blues weekdays from 10pm.
The host of Kicking Country on RadioKSA, and with over 4 decades in the radio, television, and film industries, (including both sides of the camera and microphone), along with the press and i.t. in his background, Mike has a wealth of experience.
As radio (announcing, managing, programming, and news), plus dj, mc, and multi-media voice-over artist, Mike’s passion for music has taken him across Australia and around the world.

Jim G hopes you will find his program a little different. He is an advocate of the country rock genre and for many years he have been giving this music a voice for the good of the music and the musos who play it …. and for the enjoyment of the listeners.
He’s been involved one way or another in the entertainment industry for the most part of his life as a musician [singer], songwriter, radio personality and, for a while, a voice-over man on television. He is proud to say that this career has kept him employed interstate and locally for some years. In the later years he has spent a great deal of time on community radio stations back home in Adelaide (South Australia).
Monday to Fridays, Jim brings you a mix of 50’s and 60’s rock and roll combined with some really hard driving country rock. Then on weekends, he dons his cowboy boots and plays the best of Australian country rock, plus more! Jim intends to have much Australian content and as always, South Australian bands will be featured.

Kevin “Wally” Wallace
and now, the quiet one Kevin (Wally) Wallace. Kevin looks a bit like this, is another of the tech’s we have supporting us.
As well as his ‘Music Shuffle’, Kevin is also heard on a country radio station in the Barossa Valley. Occasionally and sometimes un-expectantly, Linda (his bride) appears on the show.
Oh! He has Scottish background, so you may hear the odd bagpipe or even the odd, ‘The Bay City Roller’ song! (where’s ma whiskey!)
Allan’s passion for radio started at a young age when as a teenager he was a regularly seen around Sydney radio stations 2GB, 2UW, 2SM and 2CH. For a while ran a “radio station” at his high school with mate Graham Mott, who after a successful career behind the microphone ended up at managing 3AW and Southern Cross Broadcasting.
However, Allan followed a career in (IT) information technology which included overseas postings to Boston, Beijing and Singapore and resulting in his contribution to the profession being recognised in him being elected a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society.
The pursuit of his passion for radio wasn’t satisfied until much later when he became involved in community radio for almost 13 years as a drive and evening presenter.
Now on RadioKSA, he presents Memories of Gold, reliving some of the best music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
Tim Hawkins started in the entertainment industry in the late 1970’s performing with amateur theatre groups and playing guitar in several bands during the late 80s & 90s. He has now worked in the industry for over 35 years as a Lighting Technician, Sound Engineer & Production Manager with his own company VisionAir Productions & during that time worked for 14 years as a lighting director/technician at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
During 2010 Tim presented a popular radio show on Friday nights “Voodoo Vinyl” on 5DDD Radio. In 2013 he completed a Screen Acting Course at the Adelaide College of the Arts & made the decision to go full time into acting. Since that time Tim has appeared as a lead & support actor in more than 30 short films (student & Independent), several feature length Independent films & the soon to be aired TV series “Warpath-Chronicles” as the Character “Arathius”.
Tim is a true collector of music, mainly that fantastic black plastic! Hence, his RadioKSA show, “The Vinyl Vault’. Another star show on Sunday nights! Tune in and be prepare to learn about vinyl.
Rockaholics with Cheryl & Gary
Although new to radio, Cheryl has made her mark in radio in her home state. Starting out in 2018 co-hosting ZGirls at TripleZ 91.1fm before being elevated to hosting her own show, ‘A Box of Chocolates’, a 2 hour program and making her mark.
Next, as fill-in on air presenter Radio Adelaide 101.5fm for ‘Packed Lunch’ at the beginning of 2019 and is now also regular presenter on ‘UpDownUnder’ on Saturday nights and her own weekly show ‘Disgracefully Graceful’ every Wednesday evening.
Now on a Sunday, Cheryl co-hosts a two hour weekly show ‘Rockaholics’, an Australian Music show on RadioKSA across Australia and around the world.
Cheryl is a creative person, loves her Aussie music, she helps fundraising for music charity Support Act SA and a regular review contributor for South Australian Music magazine MEGAScene and presenter/interviewer for MegaMusicTV.
All up, she’s a music lover, gig goer and passionate South Australian.
Her co-host on ‘Rockaholics’ is musician Gary Burrows who is no slouch when it comes to writing and performing music across Australia. He’s performed on stages across the country, toured nationally and is well respected within the industry. Is he a passionate drummer or guitarist, or is he loved more for his well known voice?
His knowledge of music is wide and is equalled only by his humour.
He’s a great on-air partner for Cheryl, creating playlists stretching from local bands to Liverpool’s favourite bands.
Julian Jarrett (Jules) hails from Nottingham England and hopes you will find his show to your liking.Always one that loves music Jules gradually drifted into the community radio scene some years ago through PBA FM and Coast FM.
Jules has always had shows based around British music and has brought his show to Radio KSA. Jules aims his shows to cater for different tastes by playing music from Reggae to Rock, New Romantics to Indie, Prog Rock to top male and female artists. He will also play new tracks from Australia and The UK.
Wednesday nights on Radio KSA between 8.00 and 10.00pm you will hear all styles of music on the British Beat, there should be something for everyone. Give it a listen you never know you may just like it!
Clayton began his time in radio as one of the many volunteers at community radio station 5YYY-FM in Whyalla. From test transmissions to a regular weekly program to a paid role as Station Coordinator, community radio was the perfect starting point.
Commercial radio beckoned starting at 5AU at Pt Augusta, then on to 6KA/6NW in Western Australia, back to SA with roles at 5CS Pt Pirie and ending up at 5CC Pt Lincoln for nearly a decade as the station’s Program Director.
After time in print/digital media, Clayton is now back on the airwaves at Flow Media Kapunda, community station BBBfm in the Barossa Valley, and now a welcome asset to the RadioKSA team.
